You can create video content right within SkyPrep. To begin creating a video, click on Training Elements then on Materials. Click the Add Material button.
Select the Record Video option, then click Record.
On the next page, you will have three options.
Screen records just your screen, Webcam records just your webcam, and Picture-in-Picture records both, with the webcam view overlaid on the screen view.
If your webcam or microphone aren't detected, such as if you just plugged them in, you can click Refresh Devices to refresh the list.
Below the list of devices, you'll find a few additional settings depending on the format chosen:
Include microphone audio: With this option enabled, microphone audio will be recorded and included in the video.
Include shared tab/system audio when available: With this option enabled, audio that's playing on your device will be recorded.
PiP Default Location: This sets the default location of the webcam view in the Picture-in-Picture format. The default location can be dragged to where necessary.
Once the settings are confirmed, click on the Start Recording button.
During the recording process, you can use the interface to control the video recording process.
When the recording is stopped, you'll be able to re-record the video and start over, trim video to adjust the start and end points, cancel to delete the recording, and confirm to save the recording.
Once saved, the video will be available for use in your platform.
