Just click on Training, then Courses, and click on the course that you want to edit. Once in the course, ensure that you are in the Course Settings tab.

Next, scroll down until you see the Course Certificate section. In the Course Validity Length field, enter the number of days that need to pass before their original course completion is no longer valid.

Completion Date: The countdown begins when a user successfully completes the course.

Enrollment Date: The countdown begins immediately after the user is enrolled into the course. This also applies to any reenrollments that happen in the future due to the validity length.

Commencement Date: The countdown begins when the user launches the course for the first time after they have been (re)enrolled.

The Early Re-Enrollment Window allows you to re-enroll users before their certification expires. For example, if you want your users to be reenrolled into the course 1 week prior to their certification expiration, enter 7 in the field.

Note: If using a validity length based on enrollment date, make sure there is at least a two-day separation between the validity length and their enrollment date based on the window.

For example, if you have a 30-day validity length, the early re-enrollment window can range from 1 โ€“ 28 days.

IMPORTANT: The validity length setting is not retroactive and will only apply to completions that happen after the setting was saved. To update the validity length setting retroactively, you will also need to click on the arrow button beside Enroll Users when in the Learners tab of a course. Select the Bulk Course Progress Expiration and Re-enrollment Update option.
