Converting PDF Certificates into HTML

If you need to have your PDF certificate converted into HTML for use in your platform, read this article.

Written by Stephen Krzeminski

If you require a PDF converted into HTML, you can send it over to your account manager. However, we charge a fee since it is a fairly intensive process to convert a file into HTML code.

Note: we provide two (2) free conversions to customers who sign up for the Premium or Enterprise plans.

IMPORTANT: When sending over a template for conversion, you must use the provided placeholders shown after clicking the Documentation button in the upper-right. For example, do not use FIRST NAME LAST NAME β€” you should use the provided [SMART NAME] placeholder.

You can also use Custom Labels as placeholders. When a certificate is sent, whatever is in the recipient's respective field will be inserted in place of the placeholder.

The placeholders need to be in all capitals, with underscores (_) replacing spaces, and contained within square brackets ([ and ]).

For example, if you want to insert the (Address 2) field, the proper format would be [ADDRESS_2].
