Dynamic course deadline reminders allow you to send course reminders to Learners based on how soon their course end date is.
To enable this feature for a course, click on the course and click on the Course Settings tab. Ensure that the course has either an End Date or Course Access Length set.
In the Deadline Reminder (in days) field, specify when you want the reminder to be sent, based on how soon their deadline is. For example, entering 3 will send the reminder three days before their course deadline.
Sending multiple reminders can be accomplished by separating the numbers with commas. For example, you could enter 1,3,5 to send a total of three reminders spread across five days.
The same can be done if you would like to remind your learners of courses that are overdue, by inputting a negative value. For example, you could enter -1,-5,-7 if you would like to send a reminder 1, 5 and 7 days after the course is due, to notify your learners of their overdue course.
Note: In order to use negative values, the course needs the Soft Deadline option enabled.
